Personal thoughts:
A cute series with Cute Girls Doing Cute Things with Mahjong which was not a bad watch but not that great ether for the storyline was pretty poor to try and promote Mahjong which it did not deliver very where as someone already said this was "Cute Girls just want to have fun and hang around.."

Which also the story was barley existent at all with just bringing all the characters with not really any character development and just has a calm cute setting with comedy and breaking the 4th wall every now and again.

Biggest highlights is this is relaxing, 4 out of the 5 girls have a busty figure, and we have a cute little spirit mascot bird. There was some good backstory and friendship bonding with every ep with the good illustration card at the end of each ep.

The 8-bit segments in the OP was nice and cute with the OST but not really remunerable.

The drawbacks is the animation is standard and and as said the story was weak with just cute girls in a normal SoL having fun and just playing mahjong and nothing more.

As for quite a few originals airing this seasons it's a Mid and falls under one of the weakest.

CGDCT doesn't need a plot/story/etc. I truly liked the show with here and there a few misses, but it's more entertaining than many anime.

This series has such an unusual vibe, but it was always pretty entertaining! You’ll never find a group of girls happier than these five constantly playing mahjong somewhere in Japan.

TBH, I don´t need S2 of this but S3 of Saki but the manga pacing is so slow.

If you want to see real mahjong - and "extra content" - watch Saki and it´s spinoff and/but skip this.

The only good thing are the girls aka their bodies and the beach episode but you don´t watch it for serious mahjong games because they even try to cheat which is a no go.

I also still hope for saki 3 season

Well, I lost my time on this show...
It was "kind of" funny, but I hoped I would learn more real content about mahjong.

I am not gonna lie I watched this because of OP and cute girls ( or I say hot girls) so for me it's 7/10

And I survived this trash fire till the very end.

This one was literally the second worst anime of the season, after the Takatou Yogiri insta-kill anime. The anime started with the promise of mahjong, but it ended up showing a lot of other activities and barely doing any mahjong, except maybe 30% of the entire series. I was hoping that the anime would at least show these girls trying to make the business successful and make the sport more famous, if not to play it competitively, but all this ended up being was a waste of time with dumb girls wanting to have fun. And don't even get me started on how everyone saw Janta broken and only 1 of them had the brain to search online for a solution IN THE 21ST CENTURY OF MOBILE PHONES WITH WIFI! Not to mention, they tried making the touchy-feely sob story about how empty life is without the table, but they had plenty others and I was shouting for more than 30 times "why not call someone to fix it???" before they decided to finally listen to my suggestion! Literally, the reason why producers should stop making all-girl anime - these 5 girls barely make an IQ of 50 together! Not to mention, Nashiko was complaining about the price, but Riche is freakin' rich and she could have covered the whole thing herself if Nashiko were to ask... And finally, did she literally describe how the friendship with the girls was the most amazing thing that happened to her in this series, when she was talking with a bird?... I swear, if not for Kaiji jumping into the scenes at the beginning, then this would have been doomed.

Overall Score: 5/10! And only for Kaiji's sake and appearance, otherwise, this would have been a 3. Good riddance and if humanity has a brain, this will never come back!
